Urinary tract infection (UTI) is the name given to an infection of any part of the urinary system. The most common UTI is cystitis, an infection of the bladder causing inflamation. Symptoms include; pain or a burning sensation during urination, needing to urinate frequently or urgently, feeling that you are unable to urinate fully, cloudy, bloody or bad-smelling urine, pain in your lower abdomen, and mild fever.
Antibiotics will kill most of the bacteria but will often leave a small population which flares up again. Thus what appears to be continually repeated infections may well be the same infection rejuvenating itself.
If you are suffering from cystitis caused by an e. coli infection then Lifestyle recommends D-Mannose. It can be taken alongside your antibiotic treatment and helps to create an inhospitable environment for the e. coli bacteria.
When an infection is caused by klebsiella bacteria Lifestyle recommends Uva-Ursi/cranberry juice. Uva-Ursi has unique antiseptic properties and can be taken regularly after recovery to prevent new infections from taking hold.

D-Mannose and Uva-Ursi should be avoided during pregnancy or if trying to conceive.
