Bio-Glucan Primmuno, from Pharma Nord, stimulates the innate immune system - the body's first line of defence against infection. Bio-Glucan Primmuno contains beta 1,3/1,6 glucans, naturally occurringcomplex sugars obtained from yeasts and fungi. Fungicides used in modern agriculture have stripped foods of the beta-glucans that used to be in most foods. Wines, beers and bread, which used to contain significant amounts, are now filtered and refined and their beta-glucans lost as a result.

Each Bio-Glucan Primmuno capsule contains 250mg of Wellmune WPG (equivalent to 200mg beta 1,3/1,6 glucans) from baker's yeast, the most active and best documented source.
